pulling engine and tranny at same time.... 200 1987

Take it your operating on your "Brick".......if you really want to do both at the same time......(just dropped an AW 70 from a 90 last week..) you can make life a lot easier if you remove the fron end (everything between the fenders).......not as far to lift and not a real steep incline to lift it out. Worth the extra time.

As other post stated.......write down/ draw pics, diagrams, etc. so all goes back together the way it should.....especially electrical connections.

A lot easier just to drop tranny.......get "Brick" as high on jack stands as possible. Use a small hydraulic jack to support tranny (AW's weigh a ton !!!) and help drop. Hint: you have to pull it back a bit and then twist the tranny to the right....to clear the starter bulge on the bellhousing.

Good luck in either direction.
