AC Compressor Seized--Replace Condenser and Evap Too? 700 1990

It is possible that when the compressor seized it threw debris into the system. If you want piece of mind, want to protect that new compressor & have the bucks follow his recommendation.
The condenser would be the first victim. If it can be flushed thoroughly it probably is okay. If you pull the orfice tube & it is still fairly clean looking, then your evaporator is probably okay. The whole system's components should be flushed individually with an approved flush.
You can probably reuse the evaporator. You might want to consider replacing the condenser with a newer parallel flow type. All new seals for r134a, new drier, new pressure switch, new compressor, new orfice tube (check posts here on variable orfice tubes-more efficient) & proper charge of oil & refrigerant & you're good to go. Be sure to check for leaks & that the electric AC condenser fan is operating properly. Good Luck!
