Rear seatbelts for 1967 122 Wagon. Help... 120-130 1967

Hello All:

I just bought a beautiful 1967 122S wagon. The car is great but I have to get rear belts installed immediately so I can cart around the family. I have a few questions:

1) Rear belts - were these an option in '67? My car has front belts with shoulder harnesses.

2) Are there holes drilled for the installation of the rear belts? I saw a hole on each side at the base of the body just ahead of the wheel well. It looked threaded, but also looked to be a composite, not steel. I did not find holes in the center (after pulling forward the seat bottom) but I did not pull up the carpet that is tacked there.

3) I want to put in three lap belts. Is that possible?

4) I saw on vlvworld.com they are selling rear lap belts for $15 each. I would like to find out the color, etc. I called them and received no answer. Does anyone here have any experience with them?

Thanks in advance for your help. I am thrilled to be a proud member of the Amazon community.

Cheers,

Jeff Pucillo
