A/C NOT AS COLD.....ROTATORY DASH SWITCH 'CLICK' AT 3 O'CLOCK 200 1986

Last year, I had the a/c retrofitted to the 134a system and I was very please how the new unit cooled the car down. Well, this year, I'm not as impressed. I checked the pressure on the low side and it was within specs, but even dialing the rotatory thermostat switch into the cold/red range, it seems that the "click" of the switch is only working at the 3 o'clock position. It's taking longer for the car to cool down at that position and never really gets cold like last year or if the switch were able to engage at the end of the blue range or into the red dial range. Any suggestions before I take it back to where I had it retrofitted?

Thanks.......Oh, by the way, I'm in Florida and it's hot down here!!!!!!!!!!
