Engine swaps and other thoughts. 200 1977

In my mind if income is the least bit variable, auto restorations are not a practical hobby. You must decide if the museum business is your bag and you can do with possible long down times of your only car. A suggestion is to do the relatively quick and economical swap with good used engine and trans and keep the original to restore in the future at you leisure.
