How to repair a damaged ECT sensor connector? 200

My 1990 240 wagon continues to run rich after doing all (including new injectors and cleaning Everything) the obvious checks and replacements (only the AMM and ECU remain and so far no OBD codes for either of these)...so I'm trying to thoroughly check everything. When removing the ECT connector I looked inside it and noticed one of the male spade pins on the old ECT had not slipped in between the two metal clips on the wiring connector...it had slipped outside just a bit and slid between the plastic connector shell and one of the female clips...still making contact, but how well I don't know. This could be a source of increased resistance...thus telling the ECU the engine coolant temp is lower than it actually is....ordering up more fuel....causing the car to run rich (especially noticeable at idle...and occasionally under hard acceleration). Any suggestions? Is there a way to replace a bad connector?
Jon
