Hesitation? 200 1984

It's been a while since I've visited. Volvo = running seemingly forever. heh

Anyway, for the past couple months now I've been experiencing hesitation during accelleration. Not "off the line" but during accelleration. Not all the time either. More so when warm than cold. Lower RPM's mostly.

It sounds like a vacuum leak to me, and since I installed this engine it's a definite possibility. But I did the carb cleaner test all over and found nothing. I then broke out the propane torch and shot propane all over. Still nothing but a smelly shirt.

I've pulled and reinstalled the intake manifold with a new gasket just in case there was a hidden leak, but no results.

Any ideas on what to look for? I'm going to be crawling around it this week anyway thanks to a snapped kickdown cable (grrr...).
