I have been fighting to get the O2 sensor out of my 94 960 the better part of this afternoon with no luck. The special O2 sensor socket that looks like a crow's foot does not fit between the catalytic converter and the head shielt. There is simply not enough space. The catalytic converter also has a kind of a well into which the sensor is mounted so I can't get in there with a regular wrench either. The only other option I can think of right now is to drop the down pipes from the car which is going to be a big pain. Is there any other option I am missing here? I want to hear from people that have already done it. The FAQ was no help. Thank you.
