Updated Stumped! 700 1987

Dave
thanks for the reply, i checked the #1 at TDC verses the harmonic balancer during head installation all was okay there, im pulling a 16amp charge from the alt so with those 2 i can be almost positive that baby is spinning correctly.

So far the only way and i just found this out, to keep the engine from stalling it to turn the A/C on go figure the one that normally would make it stall will keep it going, though if i hit the gas and let go it die's no questions asked.

This car also have the fried #16 still functional but took some heat damage as did the relay location still functional also futher inspection reveled only damaged to that fuse and relay location.

I replaced the ditributer during this problem thinking it was probly the hall effect no go though.

I was unable to find any fuses under the hood on this 87, ive gotten used to the 89 model's 740 and 760 did i just over look them? i miss having the ODB thats for sure. there is a relay hanging on the drivers side under the hood and i cant remember what it does exactly.
