Found cool wheels that fit! 120-130

Hi All,

I just had to share this with all the 120/130 owners out there.

BTW this is my first post in the 120/130 section as a real owner of one. I picked up my genuine '67 123GT last night, what a nice car. The engine was supposed to be 'gone' but as it turned out was in quite good condition and driveable.

Anyway back to my post, being a 123GT I intend to keep it quite original. However one thing I had to change was the tyres. I really wanted something that would fill up the guards a little more than the standard rims/tyres which give the car a bit of an overhung look. I was intending to get the stock rims widened. After a little research I realised the chrysler rims I had in my garage had the same bolt pattern as the volvo rims and the offset was quite suitable. Even though these are 14"x6" rims there was no clearance problems with the front or rear brakes.

I will be fitting 205-65 rubber but the rims currently have 215-65 rubber and even at full lock both ways and bouncing the suspension to full travel there was no clearance problems, I was amazed!!!

I don't have any shots of the rims on the 123GT but they really fill out the gaurds nicely but not overly. I will have a shot tomorrow hopefully but here is a shot of the wheels on a different car for now.

Daz
