I'm getting an intermitant screech after start. I thought it might be belts but they're tight. Possibly an alternator bearing but then I read the post below about possible starter failure. Yesterday I was trying to get home. The screech was there on start up. I drove for a bit and it suddenly went away. I could feel the car accelerate as if the noise was also holding the car back. Is this a starter problem?
