122 vs144 front seat

No, and nor are the frames that bolt to the floor with brackets etc. They are similar, but not the same. Also there were different seats in both various 122 models as well as in various 144 models.

It's pretty easy to adapt the later seats to 122 frames. I've (along with many others, I'm sure) used late model 240 seats - they are pretty supportive and freely available at your local wreckers.
