Front License Plate mounting on 122... 120-130

Hello All:

I have a 1967 Volvo 122 wagon. I live in New York state. I have to mount a front as well as rear license plate. Rear plate - no problem. Front plate - small problem. The front bumper has two horizontal slots, mounted side-by-side, horizontally dead-center. Thusly:

I want to mount the plate so the slots are dead-center, but unfortunately the plate has the usual four mounting holes, one in each corner. Thusly:

Does anyone know of a license plate frame with a back that allows this kind of center mounting? Any other suggestions, other than drilling a hole in my new plates? How do other like-minded 122-front-plate-mounted owners handle this?

Cheers,

Jeff Pucillo
