Timing Belt Replaced...It Still Wont Start!!! 200

I replaced the timing belt on my 85 240 after the old one completely failed. I set the cam sprocket mark to the mark on the plastic cover behind it, which is at almost 12 o'clock. I set the middle sprocket mark to the mark on the plastice cover behind it, which is at about 3 o'clock. I set the crankshaft by using the small round mark on the outer ring that slips over the shaft between the sprocket and harmonic balancer. I set the mark on this ring to the raised ridge on the motor behind it. This mark points at about 11 o'clock and toward the camshaft. So, I replaced it using these instructions I read on this site and others...but it won't crank. Won't even fire or spit. I know the camshaft is turning. Any suggestions???
