Thats one more nice advantage of living in California, if it passes smog it can basically be driven. Kane & Daveshan are correct that the lights are basically ILLEGAL since they do not have the DOT endorsement on the glass lenses but I must say that you must have to piss someone off to really have them check your front headlights. That is one reason I'm keeping the old 4-square headlight setup in case I get a fix it ticket and have to go back to the stock setup. Ah, the cat and mouse games we play... Take Care!
