I've been to my Bentley, Haynes, and Chilton and can't find position of #1 on the distribtor for a 1988 240 non turbo I'm putting back on the road. Maybe this (position of #1)is "common knowledge" but it isn't common to me. The Bentley shows the position on earlier models but not this one. Can someone help me with this common knowledge. There is a picture of the distributor for this 1988 240 at http://www.quincy.edu/~chasemi/88distributor_web.jif. Thanks for your assistance.
