Which year of 900 series has the most comfortable front seats? 900

I own a 1990 740 gl wagon and my wife and daughter find the front seats very uncomforable especially the giant head rests that push their heads forward a bit all of the time. I checked FAQ and it says seats from the 900 series will fit into the 700 series. What do you think of your front seats, all of you 900 series owners, are they comfortable? Which year of the 900 series had the most comfortable seats? I'm ready to swap them out. Thanks!
