Signal light freezing up. S90-V90

I have a 1998 S90. Last week, while on the way to the store, my blinker lights froze up. When i turned on my headlamps, my signal lights would not work. It would stay frozen on the right side (front and rear). My hazard lights would not work with my headlamps on either. I checked all the bulbs on the car and all the bulbs are in good working conditions. I checked the fuse box and all the fuse and good. What else can be the problem? Is it the light switch? Please help. It's dangerous to drive on a busy freeway when your signal lights don't work.

thanks.
