Engine Noises 700

Yay! after about 4 days after I fix my rear main seal. I still have a major oil leak(no idea where). Leakin about a 6inch puddle whenever I stop. It doesn't seem to be coming from the bellhousing, its up in the engine bay.

Anyways. that's not even the big problem. Yesterday when i started up my car, I heard this metal on metal constant scraping sound coming from the top end of my engine. After warming up or pushing on the throttle it goes away, but when the engine is not under load it's this loud constant scraping metal sound.

Even when warm it happens when I put in the clutch(might be unrelated, but its almost the exact same sound). I am almost certain the sound is not coming from the tranny or bellhousing. I took it to my mechanic and he said that it was coming from around my timing belts, but he was gonna charge like $150 just to look at it, look at it being pulling one belt at a time seeing if the noise went away.

But I am so certain its coming from inside the engine. Now today, no matter what I do the noise does not go away, I have no idea what to do or how to diagnose. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I miss my car. If only thelostartof wasn't having so many problems of his own he could come help me :D. Thanks in advance!
