Worth keeping an m40 for spares into m41? 120-130

Hi all,

I got a spare M40 transmission with my 123gt (M41 TRANS), I know they have different output shafts but.....

I was just wondering if the M40 and M41 share a lot of internal parts so that at some point in the future I could get parts from the M40 to use in my M41 (which thankfully at the moment seems to be in perfect working order through the gears). If yes, what parts are interchangeable.

Cheers,

Daz
