Tranny dipstick tube install 700

Trying to flush transmission. Pan dropped & reinstalled. But cannot reinstall the transmission dipstick tube (24mm hex nut from side of tranny pan) It appears to be thread alignment issue.

Need to wiggle the dipstick pipe to get it in position, but it is bolted down with the starter motor (18 mm, hex ). Not enough space for a impact wrench (should I invest $ to get smaller impact?) and cannot remove manually (I used 12 pt 18mm socket, should give you about 30' turning space, but dipstick tube is in the way.) Basically I am stuck.

Any idea how to remove this bottom starter motor bolt?

thanks in advance
