Tough Waterspots

So I was separated from my wonderful 245 all summer long. The good news is that, although I had to leave her parked for 3 months, she fired up without even requiring a jump start. The bad news is that the parking space I chose turned out to be in the path of a sprinkler! So everyday for 3 months the front of my car got sprayed. I'm not sure if that sprinkler went on in the heat of the day or what, but it left part of the car covered in waterspots. These aren't the average you-missed-a-spot-with-your-absorber kind of waterspots--they won't come off! I've washed the car twice, used Turtle Wax's polishing combound, sprayed on glass cleaner, and even applied NuFinish. Nothing seems to have helped at all!

So does anyone know how to remove really tough waterspots?
