945 Taillights- Drive'nMeNuts! 900 1993

On an otherwise perfect car, these taillight issues are making me crazy. I don't slam the tailgate, but the bulb-socket assemblys loose their contact. Also you would think that the contact would be made when you twist it on & it meets the stops, but no. You have to go back & forth 'till it's just right. The other night I lost both brake lights at the same time, go figure. Sometimes it's the turnsignals. I tried bending the metal contacts just enough to make it tighter, however they do appear fragile & breaking one will make things worse. I love this wagon & would love to solve it's only persisting problem. Thank you for any help.
