Engine stutter/misfire 444-544

Ah...thanks for pointing me in the right direction for help.

You are correct. I have an O2 sensor (Lambda system), and I do not have a resistor on the air-flow meter. The O2 sensor is well within the 30k mile life-span. It only has 10k or so on it. One way to tell would be to disconnect it and run at a set frequency valve value. It would run a little rich but maybe more steadily if that were the problem.

The car only had 21k miles on it when I bought it. I am pretty darned certain that the distributor isn't twisted. A few other owners have related to me that they are having this problem too.

Thanks,

Rich A.
