silly question about 'pumping' the brakes 200 1989

okay guys, as some of you may know, my car is parked due to a bad transmission. to prevent flat spots on my tires, I move (push is more like it) my car from time to time, about half a car or one car lenght. as is the norm, I always press the brakes before I shift from P to N and release e-brakes. I noticed that the brakes would get very "stiff" and hard to press down after using the brakes to stop/slow down/shift the car. I assume this is due to pressure of the fluid. then today I noticed that if I turn on the car, the braking system "de-pressurize"--silly me! before I never de-pressurized the brakes after having applied the brakes (with engine off) when moving the car. can leaving the car with a pumped-up brake put stress on the brake hoses, and the whole braking system? I did that before because I always moved the car in N and with car engine off. thanks all!
