Wondering what the Auto Trans Modification Kit is -- anybody know? 200 1986

Hi, all. I have a Volvo Accessories catalog for 1986, and I noticed this:
An accessory listed as the last item under "GT Sport and Handling", pg. 22. It is entitled "Automatic Transmission Modification Kit, 1982-1986 (which means AW70 and '71), and is P/N 8360901-6.
Trouble is, I have no idea what it is or what it does, and neither does the parts counter guy at my local dealer.
Does anyone on this list know what this is (or was)?
