No start electrical problem 200

I'm assuming the engine cranks over with the starter but won't start. Be sure the 25 amp blade fuse located on the left inner fender just behind the battery is good. Verify all the other fuses in front of the drivers door are good. Determine if there is spark by pulling the coil wire at the distributor and holding it close to the engine (a ground) and have someone crank it over to see if a spark jumps. Disconnect the fuel hose at the fuel rail and crank it over with the open end in a jar to see if fuel is be delivered. The alternator could be fried from the incorrect jumper cable connection but it should not keep the engine from starting. jp
