AT Shifter Bushing part# 900 1994

Before I crawl under the 940 sedan and start tinkering, can anyone confirm or deny that the cute little doughnut bushing commonly available for $1-3, and known by the part number 666143 (or J4070-25165, on most internet parts sites) is the part I need to fix the jiggle where the metal shift linkage rod connects to the chunky black plastic lever at the bottom of the gear selector? I see where that bushing would replace the bushings at other points in the linkage, but the part I need to replace is long gone & I can't make a visual confirmation.
