louver vacuum hoses in the dash console connected wrong...know rite way?? 200 1986

Must have connected them wrong when I had the front dash console apart. All the air louvers are continuously open even when I depress the Recirc, foot direction, etc. Which vacuum hoses are supposed to be connected to which manifold port? When I took everything apart, the louvers were responding; however, when I put everything back together, all louvers are continously open. Funny this is when I took everything apart, there was this one vacuum hose that was disconnected...I figured that it just came loose from one of the manifold ports, so I chose a port and plugged it back up. Now nothing works. Does anyone have a diagram, picture, explanation? I looked at the blower motor replacement pictures, but you can't really see anything specific from there.
