I have just re-claimed a 1993 wagon that has been on loan for a few years, and am sorting out a few problems. It is well maintained, with about 320k klms. Has a manual 5 speed.

Most of the time it runs fine, but occasionally the RPMs at idle will swing back & forth between 700-1000 for a few seconds, it will sometimes hesitate or buck at low speeds, and will sometimes stall when coming to a stop. Runs & idles very well most of the time, and is great on the highway. So far I have checked plugs and air filter (all good), and put in a bottle of injector cleaner (didn't seem to make a difference). Any ideas?
