Rootbeer colored coolant... (+ dyno and drag day) 140-160

So what does it mean when you are flushing your cooling system and the stuff that's coming out of the lower radiator hose looks like flat rootbeer? It smells burnt too... Is that oil in the cooling system? Or is it really just THAT dirty? I mean, i changed it last in the past 1.5-2 years... And my car has gotten hot, and it's almost always been dirty... I'm going to run water through it a couple times, driving it around the block once or twice each, and then put the 50/50 mix in... Any ideas or comments on what this means though?

Ps. Carbs should get here very soon, anytime, maybe today, maybe friday, who knows, hopefully before wed night though, because that's when i leave for corvallis again.

Dyno day on the 25th, and then we're going to PIR later that night, does anyone want to come?
