oh crap...blower settings 1 and 2 don't work... 200

So I replaced the blower motor 1.5 years ago now. It has worked quite fine up until last week, when settings one and two do nothing. I know it's not the blower itself, because settings 3 and 4 still put out a lot of air, and 1 and 2 don't even try...there's just nothing. My questions is, does anyone know how to test if it's the switch or the resistor thing? The resistor thing, as I recall, is way deep in there, so I'm hoping the switch died. Any advice is greatly appreciated. thanks,

Nate Gundy
