Removing the bulb out relay completely, what would happen? 200 1988

Check to be sure both sides of your brake, taillight, headlight bulbs are the same brand, (no joke it makes a difference) also clean the contact surfaces of the taillight circuit board with a pencil eraser and clean the bulb holder contacts and all grounds with fine sandpaper. Check the quick index on my pages I did a couple of pages on light out problems with no bulbs burned out a few years ago, they're still up there. Removing the relay will as stated by others not solve the problem without creating other larger ones. If having matched bulbs in both sides and cleaning all contacts/grounds doesn't solve the problem then either replace the relay or take the bulb out of the warning light.
