Strange fluid in my trunk 200

Hey all,

It's been a long time since I've posted so I guess that's a good thing...
anyway my question for you all today is that I noticed when I parked my car for awhile in a spot behind the right rear wheel there would form a puddle of liquid. So today I opened my trunk and the carpet felt wet. I lifted the carpet and the plastic cover over the right rear well and found it was filled to the top with a dark fluid that stained my hands like ink....but it did wash of easily. Anyway, I want to suction it out of their but I want to make sure its not going to kill me. Is it typical for that conpartment to fill up with water?
