Some of those hangers have a rubber bumper in the middle that holds
(or keeps) the pipe down. I noticed this on the tailpipe for the 145.
Mine was broken but I happened to have a good one in my box of surplus
rubber parts. No idea where it came from, the box has been accumulating
over a period of about 30 years.
