Brake Backing Plates? Will an older one fit a 1992 with ABS Brakes except fro the hole? 200 1992

Hi: I have a 1992 240 Sedan, 100,00 miles, with ABS brakes, and Auto Transm.

My question is this.

Will the backing plates (dust shield?) behind the front brake rotors from a NON-ABS 240 (I think pre-1991) physically fit a 1992 or 1993 240.

I know that on the ABS cars there is a hole in the backing plate for the ABS pick-up sensor to go thru.

But other that, will (for example) a 1987 backing plate fit?

TIA..........Mr. Tool
