I have a 1988 Volvo 240 that is in really good shape except for clearcoat that is peeling on the hood roof and trunk lid. I have gotten several bids on the car and thus far the best one I have gotten was for $650 to repaint those problem areas and fix a problem area on the fender. I plan on keeping this car indeafinitly, but seeing that I'm a college student, I dont want to drop 5k on a paint job.
