Is this a good test? 200

Hey - I was looking for air leaks on the '80 245 yesterday and after propane came up with nothing I decided to get out the garden hose.

(engine running)
I sprayed water carefully from one side of the engine moving to the other around all of the seals listening to idle change, didnt ever happen until I concentrated on the coil-to-distributor wire. This was the definitely the only thing in the engine that couldnt take any water - when I spray it the idle drops, and I can kill the engine if I keep spraying it.
After spraying it I decided to grab the wire with the engine running and was mildly electrocuted....

So this wire is obviously bad - right?

It is a good Bougicord wire not quite 2 years old and only has one TINY area of surface roughness- - - hmmmm.

NOAH
