How to remove the small triangle windows 140-160

I would guess that for safety/security the glass needs to be pushed out from inside the car, else anyone can remove it from outside and steal the car. Also, in an accident the glass would rather pop out than pop in. But this is all just thinking out loud. I've bought a Chiltons manual that covers all model Volvo's up to 1970. It arrived today, and will look tonight at home if there is anything in it on the window. Also will look in my British Autobooks, which you probably do not have in the US (I'm in New Zealand, originally South Africa).

Have fun...
