740 Rear Door Speaker Removal

I just got a new cd player install and now want to replace the rear door speakers in my wagon. What I gathered from searching this forum is that all you need to do is remove the grills and drill out the rivets? Is there there anything else I am missing? Also what is the best way to install the new speakers to ensure they done come loose?
