Hi--
I have a 68 142S that's been converted to alternator about 7 years ago. I think it was an autolite alternator. The bracket for the alt has recently snapped. (Maybe it really is time for that SU rebuild!) I've looked around, but parts stores say wrecking yard or dealership. Can't I just buy this new somewhere? It's a straight piece, about 8 ins long, slotted at one end, biger donut on the other end that attaches to the block.
Any ideas? Thanks for your help...
