Are there 700s to avoid when buying? 700

Well, if relability is the top of yor list, another Volvo is certainly the way to go. Here's the thing: You can buy a pretty good shape 700/900 series from the early 90's for that much money. You could also spend less money on an older car, but it'll require a little more care. You may want to consider looking for a non-turbo, because turbos run hotter than the V6's.
