I would like to install a momentary switch in my 88 745 to pressure up the fuel system prior to starting the car since when it is neither cold nor hot but warm I have to crank it to do this and then the car will start on the seccond crank (want to save my starter). Where should I wire in this switch? Someone told me that wires in the left rear well behind the wheel ( pink and green ones?)would work for this. Or should I be concentrating on a new check valve for the main pump? Or something else altogether? The wagon starts right up when the engine is dead cold or has not sat for more than say ten minutes after being warmed up to operating temp. Any ideas would help. Thanks.
