I noticed that you drive an 80 245DL with the SU carb on it. How does it run?

I had an 81 245DL with a badly adjusted SU carb that had deteriorated fuel lines and was missing the hot air intake...so needless to say it ran like crap. The undercarriage was rusted out too.

all ot these factors, as well as a lack of funds to repair the car while I was a first year student, and the lack of mechanics who were willing on helping me out...all contributed to my getting rid of the old gal.

Ever since then I had sworn off Volvo's as I had purchased a VW, and 2 BMW's. Overall, now that I know so much about the e30 series of BMW, I think I can easily handle doing repairs on a 240 VOlvo, or even a 700 series too.
