Front End Weirdness 200 1981

Hi all,
Took a 200 mile round trip journey in my 1981 244 DL M-46 trans, high speed highway drive. Car did great there and back. As I drove home from work I noticed front end weirdness. The steering seems to be over sensitive, like the slightest turn on the steering wheel is amplified greatly at the wheels, causing the feeling of floating almost. I lost my right rear tire on the way home, thought that was it, but its still doing it with the spare on there. I've jacked up the front looking for loose or worn parts and can't find any. Anyone know what's going on here? Any help is appreciated...
Thanks...
