overboost 200 1984

Glad you didn't "grenade" your motor from the overboost! Someone a few years back posted pictures of their motor with a big hole in the side of the block from overboosting. Yikes!

As far as I know, the hose is your typical vacuum line. Not sure of the internal diameter of your hose but the one on my '94 945 (w/Mitsu TD04) is 4.2mm. I highly recommend the Volvo branded hose, it is by far the highest quality that I've seen. It's expensive though, ~$12 per meter from Borton Volvo. When you do replace it, make sure the hose clamp/spring clip gets put on the new hose and is in good condition.

That reminds me, I should check the hose on my 945T.
