I just called B and R and: =D 140-160

-Hmm, i thought i already answered that, but i guess that was on Turbobricks, or maybe just in my emails with a few people. There is no wall damage(i think), just the normal wear where the piston goes up and down. I didn't notice any scratches or anything, but i didn't really look that hard. I know you suggested i clean it up and put it back together, and i was going to go that route, but if i did that, i would be worried about it more than i will be when i get this other motor put in with a 90 day warrantee.

-Keep in mind, i want to dyno, and then drag race my car on the 25th, I want to reduce risk breaking my engine(well, as much as i can while still dynoing and drag racing of course), and i think the risk would be higher with an engine that has dented up pistons and was run for a while when we couldn't even turn the motor over by hand. Also, this motor that i will be getting will have much higher compression(120 120 140 140 vs 175 175 175 175). And i already have access to a refurbished head for free if i wanted it...

-And then yes, after that motor is in, i have access to my 74 motor, for exactly that: "pulling the engine and breaking more stuff and then facing down innumerable decisions with performance ideas in mind" Hehehe... Evil laugh, and yeah, i have plans... don't we all? But that would be in at least two years at the earliest(unless this motor gives up the ghost for some reason...), which would mean in at least 3-4 years(knock knock, on wood that is). I'll let everyone know how it all goes, don't worry... The only thing i'll lose is time, because if i mess up the motor at the track or at the dyno, i can return it and get a refund, well, theoretically...

PEACE! =D

Ps. Ebay will be used to it's full extent to help pay for this stuff. The intake and exhaust manifolds and whatever else is on it that i don't need will be going on ebay, along with the carbs and stuff that it has on it. My weber is being put on ebay right now, basically as just the manifold for it, but i'm going to say that they can have the carb and "linkage" with it if they're really desperate.
