740 dash pad above pedals 700 1988

I found one of these in the junkyard - it's the piece that fits to the dashboard directly above the pedals with rubber slots for the pedal arms and sound deadening padding on the back. I was all set to get it when I noticed the part number ended in "AUT" and the rubber piece around the brake pedal said "LHD automatic". My car has a manual transmission - I don't see why this piece wouldn't fit, but since the yard here (where older Volvos are scarce) charges $$$ for everything, I decided to hold off until I was sure it would fit. Was there a version of this part for a manual transmission 740? All the 740s in the yard are automatics...
