Is Red Line Oil worth the price? 700

I have heard very good reports about Redline synthetic motor oil, so I went to my local Advance Auto Parts and bought enough for the next oil change, but wow - nearly $8 per quart! Is it worth that price?

I know Amsoil is between $5 and $6, and Mobil 1 is under $5.

I just switched to synthetic after a careful treatment with AutoRX and am having some of the same excellent results I have heard from others. For one, my low idle seems to be improving, with an average idle now of about 700 (it used to be 500 when fully warmed up), and my oil light isn't flickering anymore (though I think that was due to a faulty oil pressure sensor). A recent post had a link to a webpage with testimonials from an independent person about the effectiveness of AutoRX - pretty amazing results there, including improved compression, more vigorous idle, and improved oil pressure.
