240 headlamp/ sidelamp replacement 200 1990

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a 1990 volvo 240 that has the front right fender slightly crunched as well as a smashed and gone side lamp and headlamp lens. Its a good price for the car, but I don't have much money this month to buy or straighten out the fender but want to know if the housings for the sidelamp and/or the headlamp need to be screwed into the fender tabs that I can see are bent. I suspect the sidelamp might screw into the headlamp housing, but not positive. The headlamp housing is still there and the bulb works. Other than this, its a sweet car, but I of course don't want to get myself in over my head. any thoughts you might have would be greatly appreciated!
